Energy Security
Everyone’s concerned about home security you lock your doors, arm your alarm system, use video camera systems, night lighting etc. but what about the energy needed to operate your home and it’s systems? What happens to all those systems when the power goes off? How reliable is your power?
The public grid is being stressed beyond it’s design limits as more and varying demands are placed on it. Everything we take for granted can suddenly disappear when the power we rely on goes away. If you live in Northern California like we do with PG&E as your utility company things are really tenuous. What happens if PG&E goes bankrupt? Will we have a public utility provider and at what cost?
While A&e doesn’t have the answer to what’s going to happen with the public grid we do have a solution.
